Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today, Thursday, the 28th of October. I keep forgetting to do things actually. At the moment, it's dealing with financial bits and pieces. However, there are more pressing stories in the newspapers, including Amanda Owen.

Now, probably up until the other day, you wouldn't have known her name, but yet her family

had been on television for quite a while because she's the Yorkshire Farm Shepherdess, and she's

got the book out, and she then laughed off marriage troubles, telling fans that husband Clive

had just been on the phone asking what's for dinner. But now they've admitted they're going through a rocky patch. So we don't know where

we are with this one. She is apparently living away from the farm. And she's obviously doing a show at the

moment, which is interesting because within minutes of taking her seat on stage at a theatre in Worcester,

she told the audience that Clive had just put on the phone asking what's for tea.

And this is the start of the show called Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess.

I mean, it's quite a tough thing to go from being just an ordinary working shepherdess with a thousand sheep

and a family of eight kids to all of a sudden being on stage and, you know,

raking in more money than they've probably ever had in their lifetime. So she has hit a rocky

patch. She is living separately. He's going to be looking after the kids at the moment, but hopefully

they will come through it. But once you're in the media spotlight, it's very difficult to sort of try and understand where everything's going.

And for her, more so than anybody.

She's just a simple shepherdess in the Yorkshire Dales.

That's all she is with a huge family, which is lovely.

We like the family.

We love all the kids.

We love the programme.
