Jared was working all last week. We appreciate that. It was Jared and PJ Glasser holding things down here on YBYB. I was up, but it's good to be back. A lot to get to, and we haven't even gotten to the Open Championship. That's how much content the NFL has given us on this day. But I wanted to have this Bengals conversation here, Jared, because Cincinnati and their first round pick, Shamar Stewart, they're at odds.

There is no contract that has been agreed to.

Shamar Stewart is the lone first round pick who is currently unsigned and not at training camp.

I believe the Bengals begin their

training camp a little bit later on this week, but expectations that Sharma Stewart's not going

to be there because he can't be there. He doesn't have a contract. He missed all of the offseason

activities, did not participate in the OTAs, not participate in rookie mini camp, didn't participate

in the veteran mini camp. He has not done anything for the Cincinnati Bengals.

A Bengals defense that needs all the help that they can get if they want to get back to the playoffs,

a place they have not been in a couple of seasons.

And we're getting to a point where things are getting to be a little bit contentious

between the Bengals and Shamar Stewart's representation.

That's the key point there.

It's Shamar Stewart's representation because the Bengals believe that Shamar Stewart has done nothing wrong.

They think he's getting bad advice.

So Mike Brown, the owner of the Cincinnati Bengals, said that this situation has risen to the level of, quote,

silliness between Shamar Stewart and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Duke Tobin, general manager of the Cincinnati Bengals, was a little bit more blunt.

He said, quote, I think Shamar needs to be here.

I'm not going to blame Shamar.
