| 1:09.7 | the loss because for so many of us, it's quite close in. |
| 1:13.3 | At many friends in my network that are struggling in very immediate ways family to. |
| 1:19.3 | And I heard on the news today that one person is dying every eight minutes in New York |
| 1:25.6 | city right now. |
| 1:27.7 | So in the US and in a good number of countries around the world, this crisis is still ramping |
| 1:36.0 | up and we know that. |
| 1:37.3 | So our hearts are together in holding that that hugeness of the suffering. |
| 1:44.9 | I also want to acknowledge something else, which is a sense of possibility, a sense of potential |
| 1:53.6 | when life falls apart and through the history of our species, we can see that huge disruptions |
| 2:02.6 | can be the times of adaptation where we're tapping our deepest resources of intelligence, |
| 2:08.6 | compassion, creativity, generosity. |
