| 0:49.8 | And as a way to begin, I invite you to simply listen to the sounds around you, listening |
| 1:09.7 | to the words that you're hearing and also the spaces between them. |
| 1:20.8 | Listening not just with your ears but with your whole awareness in a global sort of way. |
| 1:38.9 | And then with that same receptivity of listening, listen to and feel the aliveness inside your body. |
| 1:52.5 | As you do that, you might sense what wants to let go right now. |
| 2:03.9 | And then you might feel the aliveness and sense it if it's possible to let go a little |
| 2:12.0 | wherever there's obvious tension or tightness. |
| 2:34.9 | And with the same receptivity, we'll gently scan the body with a relaxed awareness, just noticing the life in the body. |
| 2:47.5 | And we begin with the brow and the eyes and invite you to explore softening your eyes. |
| 2:58.4 | You can even sense the outer corners of the eyes slightly lifted as if you're smiling into the eyes. |
| 3:07.9 | And let the brow be smooth. |
| 3:12.8 | And with that receptive listening presence, just sense the aliveness in the whole region of the brow. |
| 3:24.6 | Perhaps tingling or vibrating. |
| 3:29.3 | Or maybe there's a flickering of light at the lids. |
| 3:45.0 | In the same way, bringing a receptive presence to the area of the mouth. |
| 3:50.7 | And you might bring a slight smile to the lips. |
| 3:54.8 | And sense the inside of the mouth smiling. |
| 4:02.1 | Letting the tongue spread to a lower palate. |
| 4:06.3 | Relaxing the tongue down to the root. |
