And now the low post.

Welcome to the low post podcast at the end of a truly shocking and dramatic week in

the NBA that began two days ago really when Robert Sarver announced in a very Robert

Sarvery way that he is going to sell the Phoenix sons and the Phoenix Mercury after the

NBA initially banned them for a year and find them 10 million bucks because an investigative

report by an outside law firm that found what we'll call now for now broad workplace

misconduct.

That report as you surely know corroborated much of if not all of Baxter home story for

ESPN in November 2021.

Baxter interviewed dozens and dozens and dozens of current and former son staff members who

revealed to him just how toxic the sons and Mercury internal culture had become under

Sarver and things that Sarver himself as the boss and the tone center of that culture

said and did.

Some of which included but certainly not inclusive of using racial slurs commenting on the

bodies of female staffers and all sorts of potential incidents of gender discrimination

that when Baxter and I ran them by several high powered attorneys almost a half dozen

of them.

They all agreed that if not for statute of limitation issues which apply in maybe not all the cases

that's unclear but certainly a lot of them a good plaintiffs attorney boy boy could they

put together a nice lawsuit against Robert Sarver for hostile work environment gender discrimination

on and on and on in that realm for some of the things that he has said about and to female

employees and again the statute of limitations thing is real and probably have limited those
