oh my gosh, this podcast is one I've needed to hear for so long because in this world that we live in, where there is a pill for everything, we are literally given a pill for everything, you can't sleep, we got a pill, you got ADHD, let's give you a pill, you got depression, anxiety, and I'm not saying any of that's wrong because believe me, I have been on all the pills at different times in my life and they have helped me and you know, I think there's a place for everything, but I also think

there's sometimes you can just get a pill when you don't need a pill and that can cause way more problems in your body because it might numb or block or fix.

And once again, I'm not a, not once again, I'm not a doctor and you're not a doctor, stating that for the record, none of this is doctor information, want to lay that out in the very beginning.

But Shiva is a functional medicine coach, so you have a lot of knowledge on holistic healing and you have personal knowledge with being on meds for what 17 years of your life.

Yeah, so that's a really great point that you make and would like to also preface in the beginning that there's a place for everything and I'm not against someone trying a medication when they're in a place where they really need it.

But what I think our world lacks is knowledge of what can help if you're either going to a doctor because you know you're going through a rough time in your life and maybe that's what's causing your ADHD or you know maybe that's what's causing your anxiety or depression and so.
