So first of all, we're going to talk about what to pack for a destination wedding.

Because, well, I asked Charlotte to write this piece because I went to a wedding

recently in the Caribbean and I had a bit of a help moment what do I take and a girlfriend

said to me don't be ridiculous surely you of all people have got loads of things you could

wear and I was like I've got lots of stuff for sort of city weddings or English country

weddings but I think a hot destination wedding is quite a different

brief what about you has anyone been to any destination weddings or is going to any this summer

I just had run Dubai actually in beginning of May which is cool but it was just very hot and

obviously that was my biggest concern I was like what time I'm going to wear for a wedding at four o'clock

when it's 45 degrees exactly you know but and also that's a different kind of much more glamorous look than I probably would have done if I had a wedding at 4 o'clock when it's 45 degrees. Exactly. Do you buy it to me sounds like it's going to be quite a dressy affair? Yes, exactly. So what were your essentials for that wedding? What was my, I had a, well, number one was a spray tan because everyone had to be as orange as everyone else. I just went in the end for something really, really simple.

I spent ages looking for something a bit more elaborate and I just went for something really simple at the end. Just a pale blue wrap dress from top shop. Long short. Just kind of like mid-y, it's like an asymmetrical wrap and just some like silver strappy shoes and kept it really, really simple actually in the end. series of events. I think that's the other big thing When you go to a wedding abroad, it's not just one thing. You've got to think of multiple.

The night before. Yes, no, we were lucky we didn't have that. But I know you probably did. Yes. So the one I went to, we had a couple of drinks. There was a lot going on. There was brunch and everyone was staying in the same resource. You're kind of aware that,

you've got to think it through. And actually, I did, I took it by, I took each event

in turn and decided what I was going

to wear to each of them. And I got them and I was so glad I did. I packed one, I didn't take that much stuff, but I packed one kind of extra outfit. And actually we got there on the first night, they were like, so drink starts at seven. like, okay, luckily I've got that spare outfit, but I was really pleased that I kind of approached it in that way.

But I think to me, the sort of main point that I would make is, I mean, Dubai possibly different, but most of the girls that were at the wedding were wearing maxis. I can't say there was a lot of maxi in Dubai. Really? No. When they're not? No. It was very glamorous. Sure, the Salettos.
