| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Sherlock's Weekly Highlights Podcast with me, Georgie Corridge Cole. |
| 0:11.0 | This week I'm joined by Rosie Charington, talk our donor and special guest, nutritional health coach, yoga teacher, author, new mother, God, Maddie, you're a busy lady, Maddie, Shaw. Hi. Hi and welcome. Thank you. I'm like a massive fan, so I'm really excited to be on the podcast. I love that you've said that. I know, so good. So the last thing there was New Mother and you were just saying that, whilst you're out, taking your little man for a walk, you're tuning into the podcast. |
| 0:37.8 | Absolutely, yeah. I've kind of, I'm up to date and then I go back as well. I like to kind of go backwards. I've not listened to every single podcast, but I'm almost left. I feel like podcasts have really very re-renutualized taking your children for a walk or taking new babies for a walk, which is what you do a lot when they're little, isn't it? Oh my god. It was the only way I could get him to sleep. |
| 0:55.0 | Sometimes I was doing like 25,000 steps a day because he just would not sleep apart from on me. So I'd like put him in the ergo baby, and I'd be out. Could you not just sit at home and you had to be walking? He would not go down in his cot or his anything. And have you managed to kick that now? |
| 1:10.0 | So now I just do one walk in the morning and then he does his next two naps in his car. |
| 1:14.0 | Thank goodness. Well that's pretty good. Because I was just so tired. God I can imagine. Well we're going to come on to Motherhood and we want to hear all about it. Before we do, let's talk about TV. start with a bit of TV and I imagine as a new mom your social life is taking a bit of a no dive. |
| 1:29.6 | Are you now glued to the TV? Let's talk about TV. We'll start a bit of TV and I imagine as a new mom, your social life is taking a bit of a nose dive. |
| 1:29.3 | Are you now pleaded to the TV? |
| 1:31.3 | Do you know what? I thought I was going to watch way more TV than I do because I'm a massive TV fan. |
| 1:36.3 | But the one show I recently watched is Friends from College. |
| 1:39.3 | Oh yeah, so got Netflix. |
| 1:41.3 | I think I maybe got that recommendation from you guys. |
| 1:43.3 | We did it. Yeah, we've talked about it. Someone was talking about it. Astrid loved it, you watched it. Yeah, it's really good. Look, I felt there's nothing out there like it. It was just really fitted, like it's on. It really filled a kind of gap in the TV what was going on and I loved it. And the episodes were all half an hour, weren't they, 40 minutes. Absolutely. So easy. Yeah, I was kind of like, while I was tidying my room or tidying the kitchen, just put it on. |
| 2:03.6 | Yes, you don't have to concentrate too much. I actually did it whilst I've got a couple of workout apps on my phone. I can't think which ones I call it right now. Body boss and another one. Sweat? The Kayla one? Got the Kayla, yes. Anyway, but I would put it on whilst I was doing the app on my phone |
| 2:19.8 | and actually there's a limit to what you can concentrate to |
| 2:22.3 | You're doing a workout app, but actually I found that it was light-hot enough that I could do the two. |
| 2:27.3 | What, so you watch instructions on an app and watch a programme? |
| 2:29.3 | Yeah. |
| 2:30.3 | Wow. |
| 2:31.3 | That's why I was so successful in watching. |
| 2:32.3 | Multitasking. |
| 2:33.3 | Multi-tasking. Multitasking. Multi-tasked, never at centre. Seriously multitasking. I did what I did watch last night was Hillary Clinton doing a special with Graham Norton. Do you know about this? No. What? Yeah, oh God, I was watching it last night with my husband and I thought, um, Hillary Clinton and I thought it's a bit of a strange marriage, Hillary Clinton, Graham Norton. I suppose kind of a decade ago, or whenever it was that he was still on our screens, you'd have gone on Parkinson if you wanted that kind of exposure. But now in the UK, what else is there? In terms of chat shows, if you want kind of big exposure to a big audience, it's Graham Norton, isn't it? And actually I thought he did quite well, |
