| 0:00.0 | Here at Shear Lux, we produce a lot of content. But sometimes words on a page don't quite do a piece, a product, a brand, a new restaurant, a concept, you get the picture, justice. In this podcast, we're attempting to do |
| 0:23.2 | just that. So welcome to the Shearlux Weekly Highlights podcast with me, Georgie Corridge Cole, |
| 0:30.1 | Astrid Carter and Maya Lucky. So first of all, we're going to talk about Bueller, London, |
| 0:34.9 | who as we titled it, have launched what we think is their best collection yet. |
| 0:39.4 | The brand was started by two girls who I think had spent quite a lot of time in India |
| 0:44.5 | and the idea was to raise awareness or support the victims of human trafficking. |
| 0:52.2 | Yeah, it's that kind of fashion with a conscience. |
| 1:28.3 | That's what they launched us and it's been around for quite some time now. Yeah, it's that kind of fashion with a conscience. That's what they launched us. And it's been around for quite some time now. I think Kate Middleton was a big fan. Yeah, I'm Pippa. And they've had, they're really well-connected girls, and they've had it on good people. And I think they probably got quite a lot of press based on who'd worn it, like lots of friends. Yeah, absolutely. But actually this is the first time where I've really looked at the brand and thought, I love that and it's bang on and it's lovely prints. It is such a beautiful collection. Yeah, it is. Your friends go, where should you get that from? Yeah. It is. a's kind of a bit more rick-ser. It's a bit more... It's of that ilk. Yeah. It's more current. All those kind of cool summer brands are just nailing dresses. Yeah. It's got a bit of LA and yeah, it's lovely. Anyway, I think well done, Bueller for the spring, summer 17. So let's talk about Amelia Freer and her new book, Nourish and Glow, The Ten Day Plan. |
| 1:50.7 | What's that all about? |
| 1:52.9 | So it's her new book. |
| 1:53.9 | Her last one did so well. |
| 1:56.1 | I mean, I can't tell you how many of my friends have her book and kind of religiously go by it. |
| 2:00.4 | She was famously responsible for Sam Smith's big weight loss and transformation. |
| 2:06.2 | I didn't know that and that was a serious transformation. |
| 2:09.2 | Yeah, I've heard that too. I remember her talking about that in an interview. |
| 2:13.3 | I think the thing about Amelia is she's, there are lots of young girls, lots of really 20-something pretty nutritionists that get big followings. |
| 2:23.4 | But Amelia is just really gorgeous and normal and grown up, |
| 2:29.1 | and she's about healthy attitudes to food, isn't she? |
| 2:34.1 | Like this book is kind of based around that Mediterranean, like you say, normal diet. |
| 2:40.1 | It's not faddy. |
| 2:41.5 | It's just good, real food. |
| 2:43.9 | Realistic to achieve. |
