The last time I had Shay Serrano on the show, we talked about movies and about how the pandemic meant that he and his kids couldn't see movies in theaters for a very long time.

Shay did not like this, but things have changed since our last chat.

We have three sons. The twins are 14 so they're old enough to get vaccinated.

So yeah, we started going recently. The last thing we saw was venom. Let there be carnage.

How was that? Not great. How was that?

Not great, but Shay plans to go back to the movies again. For another film, he thought he'd enjoy much more.

We're going to go this weekend and we're going to go see the new Halloween.

I love Michael Myers. I'm so excited about this one.

And here's the thing about Shay that you have to understand.

When he likes something, it becomes an obsession.

Shay does not just watch movies. He knows them and compares them and categorizes them.

I'm terrified of Michael Myers. He is, however, I think part of the reason I like him is because he's one of the two or three

that I think I could get away from. Michael Myers is not going to kill me. I know that.

Because I've just watched it. Oh, yeah, sure. Okay. Uh-huh.

Listen, I have a scouting report because I've watched all of his movies.

So he does the thing a lot of movie monsters do like Jason Ford. He's where he never runs.

Jason Ford, he's never runs either. But the way that Jason gets you is he like throw

shit. He don't have a problem picking something up and throwing it at you.

Like a piece of an iron rod gate. He'll throw it right through your chest.

Yeah. Michael Myers doesn't throw anything. He's got to get his hands on you or he's got to get his knife on me.
