But just before we were set to record this thing, we got the breaking news that the Mets are putting Travis Darno on the 10-day disabled list,

partial tear in his UCL.

First thing that occurs to me, we hear it so often with pitchers.

Catchers is probably the other position where throwing is most prominent as part of their game.

You know the game.

Yeah.

That's because I've watched some baseball

Andy. And I played in high school, which you also know. You did. So it's interesting it doesn't

happen more often with catchers than it does. But for the Mets, whether he decides to elect

for surgery, which we know for a lot of people does end up being an option. It's not necessarily Tommy John or not.

It's a blow for the Mets because Kevin Puecki and Travis Darno is a tandem had been doing real well.
