Teresa Dorey (BFA Concordia University 2018) is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Her practice involves understanding the body through haptics and intimate interactions with objects, materiality and research. Dorey has participated in residencies, and been published and exhibited across Canada as well as recently in Milan, Italy during Design Week. She has been the recipient of various grants, most recently from Canada Council for the Arts and Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.

So stoked that we are hanging out together today because we've got a

here's the thing about, well, let me tell you about my week. This has been an amazing week because we're still dealing with the house being flooded.

But here's, well, not flooded.

I mean, the flood is over, but we, if you remember, if you've been listening to the podcast,

you know that back in September,

my house had a water leak that flooded down across the ceiling of our house.

And then our insurance company has just been, they've just not been very helpful in trying

to get us to move along quickly

and it took forever for them to do stuff and for and they also like to cut as many

corners as possible to figure out the cheapest way to do it not necessary to get it back to

the way it should be just the cheapest way and I don't want to get into complaining about it because it just is what it is and

and we'll figure that out.

But with these are the two things that happened to us recently that the other night we were

cooking some potatoes and we're making baked potatoes for dinner
