0:04.3	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be, she complains, I don't pay enough attention to her.
0:10.8	Well, I've got an email.
0:11.8	This is actually a pretty short one from a guy.
0:14.8	He says he's only read 3% man a couple of times.
0:19.5	And you can tell he doesn't own material.
0:21.8	So he's kind of having a problem with his kitty cat.
0:26.0	He's having a problem understanding what the kitty cat is trying to communicate with him.
0:30.7	And this actually is a pretty common problem between men and women because when women say something, it often comes across as a complaint,
0:40.0	because quite frankly it is a complaint. But men misinterpret that. And then what happens is
0:45.5	they start using logic and reason to justify their previous behavior and why they've behaved
0:52.3	a certain way. And what the woman hears is nothing's going to change.
0:57.3	You're just going to keep doing what you're doing. And so in this particular case, she's communicating
1:03.0	things because he's working, he's taking some classes now to become a pharmacy tech because he wants
1:08.0	to improve himself. And, you know, as I've said many times, and I discussed at length and mastering yourself,
1:16.0	you get paid based upon the value that you bring to the marketplace.
1:20.7	You get paid for your reserve of knowledge and you get paid for developing your gifts,
1:27.2	your skills, and your talents.
1:29.3	So this guy correctly is looking to improve his value proposition that he can offer to
1:37.3	prospective employers in the future so he can earn more money, which is what he should be doing. However, because now he's spending more
1:47.0	time with school, he is not as fully present in his relationship as he was. And his girlfriend can feel that.
1:54.6	And she's basically complaining, I want more of you. I want more of your time and your attention.
