Hey, hey, hey, welcome to Not Sam Wrestling episode 425

dropping an early one on you today because it's a really, really special episode.

This is something that I've wanted to do for quite a while. You know, I have the esteemed

privilege of getting to travel to Orlando for all of NXT's premium live events

to help host those pre-shows, those kickoff shows with McKinsey Mitchell and various other fantastic broadcasters.

And what I've gotten to see especially right now, because right now we're on the cusp,

we're on the verge of not only deadline happening this weekend, but it was announced that NXT is doing what a lot of NXT fans have

wanted for a long time and that's going back out on the road. The next premium live event that NXT does outside of deadline

will be in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are leaving NXT as a unit is leaving the performance center for a

televised event for the first time since stand and deliver, stand and deliver is the only time that they've

left that performance center literally since the pandemic and they are doing it in Charlotte,

North Carolina, February 4th for Vengeance Day. I hope that I'm going to see all of you out there that I can

possibly see because now is the time to support this brand. And one of the great things that I get to see

going down to NXT is I get to see Shawn Michaels in action as the guy in charge of that brand.

And the reason that that is so great to see is because they say don't meet your heroes, right? And part of that is because

the reason that they're your heroes is because you have developed an insane enthusiasm for whatever it is that they do, generally speaking.

And you don't want to meet your heroes sometimes because they may not have the same appreciation for what they do as you do.

But when I tell you, when I think about the people that I have encountered in life that have the passion for professional wrestling,

higher than any fan that I know, Shawn Michaels is one of the very few names on that list. Shawn Michaels is a guy who after everything that he's been through.
