Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

The traffic jams are back. Cars were a standstill on the M3 this morning.

London was full of cars on the way into work and essential workers are still getting on with a job.

As the government considers what to do next and when to do it, we are watching with interest around the world as lockdown is eased in Spain, in Denmark and in Austria.

We'll be travelling to all of those places to find out how it's going, to find out precisely what they're doing,

why they're doing it, when they're doing it, and whether they should be doing it.

It's clear now that we are firmly in the sights of an exit plan of some kind.

It is surely just a matter of time.

But how can it work and what should be the first sector to reopen?

Should it be the schools,

the construction workers,

building sites,

the shops, the pubs?
