There is a movie by the name of The Truman Show.

The Truman Show is one of the true classics of American cinema.

Movies probably over 10 years old by now,

and yet if you were to rent the Truman Show today

and settle down with your family and watch it,

you would find that it still gives as good

a kick as it did whenever they made it. The Truman Show is an almost prescient look at

a very real reality that exists in the world today with a subtle difference that Truman was living in a certain

situation. He was living in a certain type of adaptation, but he didn't know it. The people in this

world claim that they know that they are living in a similar adaptation, but they don't.

Truman's life was not very remarkable.

Every morning Truman woke up and amused himself by making little jokes to himself in the mirror as he brushed his teeth and got ready for work.

Truman would go outside and the male man would greet him with a very joyful dog. His neighbors across the

street would greet him and Truman always had a catchphrase. And if I don't see you,

good morning, good afternoon, and good night. And then he would get in his car, drive the same route

to work, meet the same twins. There were two men, older men who were always pestering Truman and saying, we want to buy insurance from your company because that's what Truman did. He basically sold insurance and stuff like that. They would always tell him, hey, you know what? Today's going to be the day that we buy this insurance. And then he would be like, sure, come on in. And I'll get you a policy, and they would say, we'll be in. Truman would go and

sit at his desk. He would work an ordinary day, and then he would go home. This was his life.

It followed an almost circuitous route, and there was nothing remarkable about Truman as a man

or his life as a life. Until one day there was an interjection in Truman's world. Something fell from the sky, and it was something

that Truman would have never expected to fall from the sky. It was a large heat, light lamp.

A heat and light providing lamp, the kind that you use on massive stages, big, big stadiums, the lights that keep the football

game going, the kind that stay hot and also are super bright. This thing falls in the middle
