Well, that was special. My Easter is made. And my Easter's already been made because my second daughter gave her life to the Lord just a couple of days ago, and she's here singing her heart out. All hail King Jesus.

Led to the Lord by her older sister who's getting baptized next Sunday. Bring all the tissues to church next Sunday.

This is going to be great. You know the best part about Easter? It feels sort of like a

fairy tale holiday that we all get our hopes up about the fact that Jesus rose from the dead,

but there's kind of a cynical side to you that wonders in the back of your mind.

Is this just like every other fairy tale story that ultimately I find out is just a little

bit fabricated or something was off?

The best part about Easter is that it's real.

Like you need to know today, Resurrection Sunday is not a denial of reality.

It is ultimate reality.

Christ has risen.

He did come from heaven.

He did die for our sins.

He did send out his spirit to connect us to him and to emboldened and empower us today.

And he is coming back again for his church.

You can take it to the bank.

It's real.

The reason we got to get that clear right off the bat is because if we're dealing in terms

of ultimate reality, the only you that needs to show up on Resurrection Sunday is the real you.

Easter can be such a time where it's tempting to put on the right outfit and put on the look

and just attend church as a part of a holiday and a practice of what's going on culturally.
