Today, we'll have Sharon's on-site and off-site August trip before that's coming up on this episode 321 of WWE Prep to Go.

0:07.5

Hello and welcome to WWE Prep to Go. We talk strategy and ideas for people playing their Disney World trips and we have lots and lots of trip reports. I am your host Shannon Albert from www.prepschool.com. Thank you for being here for episode 321.

0:38.5

So today is another trip report. This one with lots of interesting elements. Sharon is not a first-timer by any stretch and so she is always trying new things, perfecting techniques, learned a lot as we spoke and learned a lot from her trip, both the mistakes and the very intentional clever things that she did.

1:00.5

Before we dive into this episode, two pieces of housekeeping, which I think I'm going to have every episode now. One is social media, be sure to follow so we can have a conversation there.

1:11.5

But two is that if you want to be a trip report, guess the only way to do that is to submit through SpeakPipe and that is the voicemail service that we use. You can do it on your phone, you can do it on the computer, the information is in the show notes.

1:25.5

We always get emails every week, we get emails, DMs, comments on posts asking about this and I'm just going to keep saying it until it is a thing that everyone has memorized that you just have to submit through SpeakPipe.

1:37.5

And then we go through SpeakPipe and that's where we pull out guests and contact them if the timing or the details of the trip line up with what we are looking for.

1:45.5

So please feel free to do that. Before we jump into today's episode, I wanted to mention to you that we partner with quick server transportation for private car service.

1:55.5

They have some benefits that we really like, especially for families, including meet and greet service, like handling your luggage at the airport, they will include a car seat and they have a 20 minute grocery stop if you want it.

2:08.5

To book with quick server, please check our reservation link in the show notes. And now for my conversation with Sharon. Welcome to podcast Sharon.

2:18.5

Hi Shannon. Hi, we're talking on Saturday, August 6th and are you leaving somewhere to go somewhere soon? Yes, we are going to Orlando on Wednesday, the 10th August 10th through what?

2:32.5

Through the will be home on the 22nd, but we're leaving on the 21st. That's a long trip. It is a very long trip. Yes.

2:40.5

And normally I would ask you basic questions, but I am, I know you so I know that this is far from your first trip. Correct. How many what trip is that this year?

2:50.5

This year, it's only two only. Okay, this is your second trip this year. Second trip this year. Yes, we are not dealing with the first time. No, you know what you're doing. Who who is going on the trip with you though?

3:02.5

It is myself, my husband and my 13 year old daughter and my son who's not. So the whole family. Yes, because you don't always go with the whole family. Right. The last, actually the last time that I was there, my whole family was there.

3:18.5

But I was the only one who went to Disney because I went with them. I went with my brother's family to the Disney parks and my family just did universal.

3:27.5

So my whole family hasn't done Disney together since August of 2020. Yeah, you were like a tour guide for your brother. I was a tour guide for my brother. Yes. And my family did universal and like resort trips.

3:39.5

So this is your family's first trip in a couple of years. Yes, altogether.

3:44.5

So did you say the last time was August 2020? Yes. So what is it about? What is it about August that makes you want to go with them?

3:51.5

It's mostly because we because my daughter's 13. She's like at the point and she's also really conscientious about school. So she doesn't want to miss school.

4:00.5

And it's sort of this time that the crowds are lower because a lot of people are back in school, but we're not yet. And you know, so she doesn't have to miss school, but we also don't have to go like during spring break.

4:11.5

And we were there spring break this year and I will not do that again because it was bananas. This year was extra extra bananas. It was real bad.
