Today I'm honored to introduce you to Sharon McMahon, often called America's government teacher.

Sharon is a former high school government and law teacher, number one New York Times bestselling author,

host of the preamble podcast and one of the world's most prominent voices speaking and educating

on American history and politics. I've followed Sharon for years and I am blessed to have

the opportunity to speak with her today. Sharon, welcome to the podcast. Thanks for having me. I'm

It is a blessing to have you. Thank you for making the time. It's my pleasure. Thanks for having me. So before we dive in, I'm sure literally everybody listening knows who you are, but just in case there's someone who doesn't know who you are. Can you just give us a background story? Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do? Well, I am originally from the great state of Minnesota, and we can do the whole interview in a Minnesota accent. I can turn it on real good. And, you know, became a high school teacher, as you mentioned,

and lived on both the West Coast and the East Coast taught government and law for many years.

Started my social media account in the wake of the 2020 election when we're in the middle
