Summary

Episode 410 is a workshop led by Chris Brennan where members of the Denver Astrology Group share stories about how past Venus retrograde transits have manifested in their lives. This meeting was held on July 9, 2023, and members were given a Venus retrograde worksheet and instructed to research their chronology ahead of time and come prepared to share stories of past Venus retrograde transits. During the course of the meeting 8 different astrologers shared real-life stories of how the transit had worked out for them in the past, and in some instances how the events that happened under one retrograde were linked to subsequent ones in 8 year increments. This episode acts as a nice followup to our previous episode titled Venus Retrograde in Astrology Explained, which covered more of the theory of how the transit works and used a number of celebrity charts, while in this workshop we get an even deeper sense of how it actual works out in the lives of normal people. 0:00.0	Welcome everybody to the July meeting of the Denver Astrology group. If this is your first meeting,
0:05.4	we always meet on the second Saturday of, or second Sunday of each month, always from 2 to 4 p.m.
0:11.5	here at the Mercury Cafe. Over the past year, Rosalie has been helping to run the group and
0:17.6	managed the group. And right now, Ashley and Yelena are also starting to help as co-organizers
0:23.9	this month as well. So I wanted to thank them for their help because I've been busy running the
0:29.1	podcast and haven't been able to run the group as much over the past year. So at this meeting,
0:34.9	we're going to be doing something we've done a few times in the past, which is to share transit
0:39.6	stories of recent transits and how they've manifested in our lives. So this is something we started
0:46.8	doing a few years ago with eclipses because when eclipses happen, they bounce back and forth between
0:53.5	two houses in your chart over the course of a couple of year time span and sometimes the activation
1:00.2	of the topics associated with those houses is really vivid and really obvious in a person's life.
1:07.5	So this time, we're going to do a little bit more general of a transit sharing workshop where we're
1:15.2	going to ask people to share some stories of recent transits that are happening or that are
1:20.0	coming up in your life that you're kind of anticipating because there's been a lot of different
1:24.8	transits recently that have been pertinent in different people's lives in different ways.
1:30.1	So the primary one we're going to talk about I'm hoping is the Venus Retrograde, which is just
1:36.1	starting to get going this summer. We've already entered the shadow period for this retrograde
1:42.2	and Venus is actually going to station retrograde and start moving backwards in the order of degrees
1:48.3	in the sign of Leo starting on July 22nd. So today is what July 9th, so we're only a week or two
1:55.2	away from that really starting, but since it's already entered the range of degrees that it's
2:00.5	going to retrograde back to, for some people, these stories are already starting to come up and
2:06.0	they can already sort of see and start to anticipate what that retrograde is going to be about.
