I'm Roger Marsh, you probably recognize my voice as the voice of Family Talk.

Well today I'm going to be sitting in the co-host seat, which is something I do as a radio host and also ordained minister,

published author, and we are here today at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention

in Nashville, Tennessee, where we're recording this program, this is in fact the world's

largest gathering of Christian communicators. Everyone here is seeking to advance the gospel,

whether it through faith-based music or movies or television, radio programs like ours, podcasts and other areas that you enjoy.

Now you know there really is a lot of power in music.

I know that for a fact, my dad being a music educator for many many years and you know it's amazing

when you can walk into an empty room and all of a sudden music starts playing it's a

whole different dimension it might be a place where you start dancing or maybe you're

watching a movie and all of a sudden

here comes that suspenseful music in the background.

Changes the mood and a movie scene just like that.

Well music also can be used as a form of worship and expressing our love for God and of course the

Lord loves music too.

The Bible in Psalm 96 verse 1, Oh sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord

all the earth,
