Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning's with the masters where

devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you. Good morning guys. We are picking up with day three

of our divine direction devotional in the Bible app. There's a link to that in the description

if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture

then Tori's coming with the devote. Let's do it. Let's go. Anyways the scripture is James

chapter 5 verses 7 and 8 and this is this. Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait

for the Lord's return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the reins in the fall

and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You too must be patient.

Take courage for the Lord is coming near. The devotional is titled Stay and it says this.

I thought many times about how different my life would be if I'd given up what I wanted to.

My story could have become something like yeah I used to think I was supposed to be a pastor

but I gave it a shot and things didn't work out. That's just how it goes. I'm certain you'll have

to wrestle with occasional challenges and different seasons of your life. A boss you don't think

you can stand another day. A relationship that's suddenly hurting a dream that's running out of

resources. A move that's failed your expectations. When you face difficulties it's natural to

reconsider your huge life altering decisions. You might ask questions like these.

Should I take my chances quit this job and look for something else? After my spouse is a fair

time to move on. Am I really cut out to run a business? Should I cut my losses before things get

any worse? In each of these examples and with most major life choices you're at a crucial fork

in the road and it's time to decide should I stay or walk away? Am I choosing to give up because

it's the right thing or because it seems like leaving would be easier. Often the best and most

rewarding decision you can make is to stay at the course even when it would be simpler to turn
