0:00.0	The mystery and the miracle of the birth of Christ was the fulfillment of the promise that God would be with his people.
0:14.0	The very name Emmanuel means God with us, and Jesus Christ is our Emmanuel. In this study, Scott Pauley reminds us of our

1:28.1	John the Baptist. And guess what truth we find yet again. The Lord was with John the Baptist.
1:34.0	We return today to Luke chapter number one. The first half of the chapter, of course, is
1:39.0	connected to what God did in Mary's life and the Lord's presence with her. But the last part of the chapter
1:45.3	gives us some detail and some description of what God did in the coming of John the Baptist,
1:51.9	the forerunner of the Lord Jesus. Let's read just a verse or two at the end of Luke chapter
1:56.7	number one. This is the passage where John's father testified about what God was doing in all of this.
2:06.6	And the Bible says in verse 65, and fear came on all that dwelt round about them, and all these
2:12.0	sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judea. And all they that heard them,
