Hey there, it's Nick.

0:01.0

And it's Leah.

A real quick thing before we get going, would you please follow our show in whatever app you're using to listen to us right now? Yeah, you don't even have to listen. You could just hit follow and it would really mean a lot to us. Yeah, there's probably like a follow button or maybe there's a bell or a plus sign. Like there's some symbol somewhere and then you'll get notified whenever we have a new episode. We would so appreciate it.

We really would.

0:23.3

It makes a huge difference for our show so please do that. Thank you so much. And now let's start the show. Let's get in it. Hey everybody, it's Nick Layton. And it's Leah Bonima. And we had so many great questions from you all in the wilderness. Aoo!

That we've a bonus episode. So here we go. Our first question is, quote, recently, I went out for a casual

0:46.9

brunch with my wife. She had the chila quiles, and I ordered a burger. When our food arrived,

she offered me a bite of her entree, which I gladly

0:55.3

accepted. After our meal, my wife gently reprimanded me for not having offered her a taste

of my burger. I objected. It had been easy and hygienic for me to reach over and fork a bite

1:07.0

of her dish, but passing her the burger would have been sloppy. It was a very

1:11.8

saucy burger. She's my wife, so I'm not afraid of cooties. However, I feel it's inappropriate

1:17.7

to pass a sandwich around the table, especially at a restaurant. It's one thing to stick a

1:22.8

utensil in your companion's dish, quite another to wrap your hands around another's burger.

1:27.9

What say you?

1:29.0

Should I have handed over the burger?

1:30.9

Should I have declined to sample her chilequiles, knowing I wouldn't reciprocate?

1:35.0

Cutting a slice of burger for her with a knife seems fussy, but maybe that was the right move?

1:41.5

You guys can't see it.

1:42.8

Nick and I just smiled at each other through.

1:46.6

This is a great question.

1:47.8

It's a very fun question. I feel like there's multiple layers to this question.
