Julia Child was once asked if Rabbit would ever be popular in America.

Her response was, not as long as there's an Easter bunny. Well, if Australia

has its way, rabbits going to be on every table. The Aussies are banishing the Easter bunny

because rabbits do serious damage to the environment there. So instead of the bunny, they're pushing

the Easter bilby. Now, this is a cute, furry little marsupial with big ears and appointed nose.

It's native to Australia and it's endangered.

So with Easter status, it's going to be protected.

And yes, its likeness comes in milk and dark chocolate.
