privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, how are you today? Sally Clarkson here and on a Saturday afternoon and I've

been thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking all day long about what I'm going to say to

you today. So I hope it'll be really inspiring and encouraging. I just want you to know that

this is so much fun for me. I keep being astounded because I will ponder and ponder and ponder

which is what I like to do and then I will share my thoughts with you and you keep writing

me and coming back and I think this is amazing. There are so many of us thinking, valuing,

embracing the same things. And so thank you for being here. I just want to ask you a couple

of things. The first thing is, would you consider sharing my podcast with some of your friends?

I am moving in the direction of needing to help Sarah, my daughter, launch her very beautiful

book. I'll tell you more about that another time. We have a podcast coming up later but

also I need to launch my book in early September which I'm really excited about. My book is

help I'm drowning, whether in the storms of life with grace and hope. And in that book,

I talk a lot about the fact that there were hidden issues and problems and struggles

and desperate moments that I bore throughout my life. A lot of people think my life was

easy but I think that what my life was was a learning how to choose light in the darkness,

how to hold fast to God's word even when it was hard to believe. And as I look back

in my journey, I can see that God was faithful. Part of my problem was that I don't think

I had a realistic view of just how fallen the world was, how desperate people could be,
