I'm so excited to talk about a show that Mannin and I both really enjoy to an immense degree that we've never really had a chance to really dive deeply on the show and we figured you know if we're not going to have a better time like on the show, you know, there's news and all this stuff going on.

We really wanted to just sit down and just get deep, real deep into why we love Mononoke.

Yeah, so today we are going over the show Mononoke,

which is one of my favorites.

It, man, the first time that I watched it, it just blew my mind. It was, it was a horror series unlike anything else that I've ever seen.

Because usually when you see horror shows, they usually rely either on jump scares or really dark tones and atmospheres and a lot of either blood or guts or something and but Mononoke is unlike anything else that I have seen it's like no less unsettling but vibrant and colorful and

really fascinating.

It's filled with so much folklore and just sprinkled with hints here and there on the the subject and the mystery and it's just with a really cool

protagonist as well.

I don't think any other show as equally captures both the essences of stylish and

unsettling in the same breath like horror shouldn't look this good and somehow it pulls it off. Yeah and man every arc that I

watched I was just there's so many things that I felt like I could pull out of it and examine and in great detail and that's why I'm so excited to do this series. So did you want to give a brief just like explanation or a history of what Mononoke is?

Yeah, so Mononoke is a series that came out in 2007.

I did not get around until watching it until 2015 personally. I don't know if you know.

Same actually. It was a good time to watch it. But essentially this came out in the summer of 2007.

This came out on the Noit-Tameena programming block which is like the weird like adult

Centric like they're just always weird stuff on that block and I tend to love I will always give

annoy to me to show a shot.
