This weekend sees the release of a hugely important movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Shang-Chi and the legend of the 10 Rings. Shang-Chi is the first MCU movie to feature an Asian lead,

played in the film by Simo Liu. It's also directed by Destin Daniel Cretan,

a guest on this show in 2019, and co-written with Cretan by one of our guests later in this episode,
