Creative Exchange today. We have someone very special. Shambouti. Woo! Woo! It's so good to have you here.

So I have so many questions. I first discovered you from Shameless Maya. Loved her stuff. And I was

like, oh my gosh, her crew of friends. So cool. So I was recently catching up on all of your stuff and I was like oh my gosh her crew of friends so cool um so I was recently

catching up on all of your stuff and you're busy girl that makes sense you're a shameless my

person because you like tech lifestyle she's done tech stuff yeah and she she had some really cool

like camera stuff um and then I loved her like loft apartment. So I kind of, she's cool.

She's really cool. And she was from New Yorker. She's actually done all of the different major

coastal city. She did Toronto, Vancouver, New York, and now she's in L.A. That's awesome. And you

are in L.A., but you're from Toronto. Yes. And so what are your thoughts on New York, like New York

versus Toronto? I've never been in New York fit in my whole life. So I will just put that out there

that my parents are originally from the West Indies or the Caribbean. And most people from the Caribbean,

if they migrate, they either go to London, Toronto, or New York. And so kind of half my family went to New York,

half went to Toronto. So I spent my childhood years coming to New York a lot for like two or three

days at a time. And it's always just been a struggle city. Like it's just like hard to get around.

And it's like cold and people here aren't that nice. So it could just be my own experience. And as I've gotten older and you

come here to work, it gets a bit better. Like, okay, now I see the New York that you see in rom-coms.

Yeah. And I feel like to make New York great, you almost have to start out with money because it's very

difficult. I mean, I spent one year in like not okay conditions and now I'm fine. It's great.

But it's great. It's fine. Don't worry about me guys. But the first year I was in a five floor

walk up and it was like a mice infested apartment. So that was an experience in its own. But I've found

amazing creative community here, but it's definitely not for everyone.
