I did not know that on the many names on the list of nicknames for David Haw, that Dee Haw was one of them.

Man, you're around and working this town in the many different ways that David has and does.

You get a lot of nicknames.

A lot of nicknames. And maybe even some he likes. Like Gordon Beckett yesterday told us he never had one that he liked. That's true. He didn't like bacon. For everything I hear, and I think I heard you say this earlier in the show, D. Haw. Or is that just Shams just showing him love, showing him comfort love. Shams showed a lot of love to Mully and Haw, as he should.

He and Mully are both proud graduates of Loyola University of Chicago.

They were chopping it up, and he's worked with David as well.

So having Shams on the score feels right.

Like it just feels right.

A kid that grew up here, loving Chicago basketball,

and just the grind, the way that he worked literally as a student at Loyola,

breaking stories.

Like I know people on the education side would be like, yeah, that kid would duck out
