If there were anybody on this team other than maybe Jalen Brunson that outplayed his contract,

it was Landry Shammit when he was asked to play.

And he played defense and he shot threes and he was a stabilizing force.

So he and Jose Alvarado will be back.

Yeah.

Now the question remains because there are some gymnastics that the Knicks have to do regarding the

contracts of Carl Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson. If they think they can keep Mitchell

Robinson from keeping this team getting into the second apron, I don't know how they're

going to do it unless Carl Anthony Towns. You know, he's eligible for an extension right now.

And that extension could be somewhere like around $272 million for four years.

Sounds about right.

Yeah.

In the NBA?

Right.

So he's under contract for this year and he has a player option for next year.

But the Knicks could extend him. And depending on what he is extended to.

Now, most players go right to the max. You know, we saw Jelan Brunson come here. He has not been at

the max. He took less money. We all know that. And I do believe that Landry Shammit took less money

to stay.

Jose Alvarado was on a one-year deal anyway.

They still had his contract, and all he had to do is opt-in.
