0:43.6	going to be talking a lot about plant medicine in this episode. And we have to start with the brow
0:48.7	chakra. The sixth chakra, your third eye, our brow chakra is our seventh sense. It's where we see beyond
0:57.0	what we can see with our physical eyes. It's where psychic phenomenon comes in, telepathy,
1:02.6	clairvoyance, clear seeing. And when we are expanding and working with our third eye,
1:09.0	we are also working with our pineal gland. The pineal gland governs
1:13.6	the third eye. It's this teeny weeny pea-sized gland that sits in the center of the skull.
1:18.9	And this pineal gland will regulate our sexual cycles, our menstrual cycles. It has a hand in
1:25.3	aging and longevity. It helps with our sense of direction. Its primary
1:30.2	job is to regulate our sleep cycles. It works with our circadian rhythms. And it also secretes
1:38.1	melatonin. And this is why when we travel, we will take melatonin to help regulate our sleep patterns.
1:46.7	And so as this pineal gland is working with our third eye, it also is believed that it secretes dimethyletriptamine, which is
1:54.1	DMT. Now DMT is that chemical substance that is released by our pineal gland when we have near death
2:03.3	experiences, out of body experiences, and there's tons of science and experiments that are going on
2:09.6	with it right now.
