0:34.6	One of them is this story, the growing controversy over the Dignity Act bill that's
0:40.7	currently being debated in the House of Representatives. You could call it a betrayal bill. That's another
0:47.5	name for it. The legislation is causing uproar for many of the strongest voices from the
0:53.3	America First community, which has
0:54.9	already gotten screwed, because if it is passed into law, the so-called Dignity Act, would make it
1:01.8	easier for illegals to stay in the country, millions of them. Now, none of this is particularly
1:07.9	surprising, but here's where the story gets interesting.
1:11.7	The Dignity Act has support from a number of Republicans.
1:16.6	In fact, it was co-introduced back in July of last year by Republican Congresswoman Maria Salazar,
1:22.6	who's from the Miami area.
1:24.5	She's the daughter of Cuban immigrants.
1:26.1	And the original list of co-sponsors includes 20
1:30.4	Republicans and 20 Democrats. What are the Republicans doing co-sponsoring an amnesty bill?
1:37.3	The legislation calls for stricter border enforcement in parallel. Okay, they always do this.
1:43.0	This is what the Republicans who are pro amnesty always stick in. Oh, we're going to make it tougher. We're going to enforce the border. And that's really like the price we're going to pay for amnesty. That's never the way it works. What ends up happening is you get the amnesty without the tougher border. You know, the next time you get a Democrat in the White House, the border opens back up.
