Good to see you guys.

Welcome.

Welcome to breakaway. We're so glad you made it tonight. Man,

I'm excited about tonight and what God has in front of us tonight. You know, four weeks ago,

we laid in front of you the events of history that we're living into that multiple world leaders have called the worst refugee crisis since the Second World War.

That what began as peaceful protests in Syria in 2011 devolved into civil war that has had a number of devastating consequences, not least

of which has been the rise of ISIS and the displacement of 12 million Syrians, men, women,

primarily children, fleeing the war for safety.

And the world tonight is reeling as to what to do with that.

How do we respond to that?

And so four weeks ago, we laid out in front of you some organizations, some people that decided to wade into the chaos with the love of Christ, to bring peace to the part of the world

that is at this moment the most vulnerable.

And so for four weeks, we've asked you to get on board with us as we here in College Station

living here, these people who are tracking with us online and other places to get together

and say, let's get behind

some brothers and sisters in Christ let's get behind some people who love God and in his name

want to love the people that he's made let's get behind them and put some wind in the sail to
