My name is Brent, and I'm sitting here with Rachel Thweet, who is in charge of our Shalom Project 2018, and this is the last podcast that we will do for kind of our

Shalom update. And we've got some really, really exciting news coming. And I'm going to let

Rachel share some of that. But we wanted to fill you guys in with where we've been the last

couple weeks. And Rachel, just as you have been interacting

with the Concourse at Reed, we set up giving stations.

We also had some letter writing stations.

Just share with, give me a snapshot,

give us a snapshot of just what some of your favorite

favorite things about that were.

Yeah, so I did have the opportunity to be in the concourse and

watch students stand in line for what seems like 10, 15, 20 minutes to give to Shalom, which is

amazing that students are willing to just wait and to give their money to this project. And so

getting to see that was really just encouraging and really

challenging to me as well, as well as we had a letter writing station so students could write

letters to families who are adopting through show hope and receiving adoption aid grants.

And so getting to see them just pile in and sit on the floor and try to find a see
