Howdy, my name is Rachel Fleet and I'm the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships for Breakway Ministries.

Part of my role involves leading the Shalom Project.

If you aren't familiar with the Shalom Project, let me tell you a little bit about it.

The Shalom Project was starting more than 10 years ago to be a campaign in the spring,

where students and listeners like you were asked to lean in and impact change in people who are lost and hurting around the world.

One of our favorite definitions of Shalom is that Shalom is not just the aspects of conflict with the presence of clergy.

Believers have a hope and freedom that can only be found in Jesus and we are called to make his name now.

The Shalom Project gives us the opportunity to look at ourselves and bring the light of the

gospel to a dark world. In a moment, I'm going to abide Breakway's executive director

to make the team to share more of his passion on this year's Shalom project. We hope you enjoy the

Why don't you help just explain to our listeners how the breakaway staff decided on this year's Shillan project?

Well, we don't take it likely that we are formulating a project in which, you know,

thousands of students in Reed Arena and many more listening on online are going to

lean in with us and give well over $100,000.

So we don't take these projects lightly.

And so every year the staff will get away together and we will plan and we will pray
