Welcome to the Savage Nation. Today's master class is about Plato's allegory of the

cave. Who was Plato? Most of the young people never heard of him. They know about naked people

on stages, but they don't know about this great Athenian philosopher who lived in ancient Greece and very famous, in part, for writing the Socratic dialogue, the allegory of the cave, which is one of the most significant pieces of work in literary history.

Right away, we have lost about 200 million of the American

people. When you say significant pieces of work in literary history, you lose 100 million people.

And then when you say Athenian philosophy, there goes another 100 million, and there's nobody

left. But all we're seeing are shadows on the wall.

And of course, I want to talk about that for a number of reasons. You can apply it to virtually

anything and you're only seeing shadows on the wall, whatever the subject may be. I don't believe

we're seeing the truth with regard to the Charlie Kirk murder. I think we're seeing part of the truth,

but not the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

And I don't think we can ever see the truth.

We're still arguing over who killed JFK.

So why do you assume that we're going to know who did this?

We still don't know who the other guy was shot President Trump.

Don't know him.

So what did Plato mean when he said that we're like people chained up in a cave

forced to watch shadows flitting across a stone wall?

We'll talk about that.
