You guys have a seat. I, um, I saw a picture the other day, um, and I, it's of our family, and I'll show it to you.

It's, uh, there it is. And you can tell a lot from that picture, honestly, like, you could tell we're a family of five,

and you can probably even guess where we're at

at Disney.

And yet it's just the shadows.

It's not even the people.

It's not even what the picture is of.

It is really just the shadows. And this is a word that the

scripture repeats, shadows, that there are these shadows, they're clues in the scriptures. And as I think

about, you know, there's this event that's coming to Waco that really has the world's attention.

And it's not just Waco. It's traveling through. This is one of the places, but it's this solar eclipse.

If you think about what the solar eclipse is, it's really just a giant shadow.

I mean, this is where, you know, the moon blocks out the sun, and so we have moments of darkness.

And it's because of the sun and because of something stepping

in the way that we see these shadows.

The shadows are evidence that the object is there.

This is what the scripture says.

In Colossians chapter 2, it says, therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat

or drink or with regard to a religious

festival, a new moon celebration or Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come.

The reality, however, is found in Christ. And all throughout the Old Testament, you have these

shadows of things to come. And that's what I'm going to show you today, that they are the evidence of the object.
