Summary

A peaceful North Carolina home unravels when thunderous footsteps rattle cans from the pantry, a bedroom door slams—and locks—from the inside, yet no living soul is there. Years later, the same family hears the unmistakable click-clack of their late dog’s tags against a stainless bowl, followed by the soft lap of water, while the surviving pup snores at their feet. Add a father jolted awake by the voices of his departed wife and son calling him to bed, and you have a house where routines refuse to die.

0:36.9

Sometimes those routines are interrupted with nothing paranormal.

0:41.2

Most of the time, it's just us, you know, doing something a little bit different.

0:44.5

But we can tell, well, that was an interruption to what our brain was almost expecting to have happened.

0:52.2

It does get a little more peculiar, though, when those interruptions occur from actions

0:59.5

that we're not taking.
