Welcome back to the Enneagram and Coffee podcast.

Today we are diving into shadow work kicking off our series.

I mean, we kicked off our series last Thursday, but we are really getting into the type

specific episodes today with type one.

Sorry, nines. Listen, type type nines i feel for you because as a seven in a lot of eneagram spaces if you're new to the enneagram or you haven't gone to a lot of

anyagram workshops you might not know this but in a lot of enneagram spaces we start with eight because they'll do the body center first.

So they'll do eight, nine, and one, and they end on seven.

So it is, I think it's the ultimate test as a seven to be patient enough to sit through the entire thing to get to yours. I think it's brilliant,

quite frankly, on a practitioner's part to make us go last. It is like practicing our work in

real time. And I just want to send out a word to the nines that I feel you, I see you, and I'm sorry.

Someone has to go first and someone has to go last. And I try to alternate. But right now, we're doing number one. So,

anyway, type one. You know, I think shadow work is such an important piece of personal growth.

And so I'm really excited about this series. And for ones, I think this can be so

important because of their innate fear of their shadow. You know, that that basic fear of one is that

they are corrupt or evil. So I think it's deeply necessary. But I understand that it could be a bit
