Summary

Goliath is crowned king over a strange mob of ruthless and hopeless people trapped in Shadow Valley by their sinfulness. An attempt to show mercy causes the king's enemies to seek to kill him, and Goliath must become a fugitive in his own land. His only hope of survival is to somehow escape Shadow Valley.
