All right, guys, well, welcome to the family teams podcast. I'm excited. I've got four folks with me, families who are leading into Shabbat. And I wanted to give all of you

an opportunity to hear from some more families that have been thinking about how to keep a Sabbath.

And as we've kind of heard people's stories over the years, this can look really different

depending on what your family looks like and kind of what season or stage your family is in.

Our family is in kind of an unusual stage compared to most people because we're a little older.

So I wanted to make sure that we had just a lot, a lot more stories for you guys to,

to pull from.

And so we have four families that are going to share their, their family's journey

in the Sabbath.

So we're going to start with Leanna, who's from the Netherlands.

And so she's going to share her story. We're going to hear from

Andrew, then Alex, and then Jason and Callie are going to round us out. So, Leanna, tell me about kind of

this journey of Sabbath, kind of walk me through, what was it like? Why did your family start to practice?

And then tell me about, you know, how that went for you guys and the impact it's had on your family start to practice and then tell me about how that how that went for you guys and the

impact it's had on your family hi sorry the connection was a little unstable i'm back now uh yeah so

uh my husband and i have lived in israel for uh six months when we just got married.

And that's the first time we actually found out about Shabbat.

And we were very inspired because it was so relaxed.

And you know, you really felt everything stops.
