I certainly love it when you want to sit in and kind of participate in the conversation

by listening.

That's what we do here.

But I'm really excited about who's dropped by the podcast for a conversation today.

I've known Jennifer for a long time, certainly followed her career professionally in her

work in journalism.

She has been an incredible, let me, how can I put this?

A bit more advocate for good smart journalism, but more recently a very strong proponent

of democracy and democratic principles.

And I think a lot of people out there respect that if nothing else.

She writes, reported a pain for the Washington Post, she covers politics and policy, foreign

and domestic and provides insight into the conservative movement.

She has a former Republican.

I will still say conservative, modern submissions, conservatives or some others, which is America.

She's covered Republicans and Democratic parties for sure.

She's written a lot about the threats to Western democracies and sort of exposed different

take on those conversations.

She's also a colleague of mine at MSNBC, where she is a contributor and political analyst.
