It's Dave Jacoby. Jacoby. There's been a lot of basketball since the last boat, Bernie. Ready to get into it.

A ton. We've got a lot to go over. As we record this on Friday morning, here are the things that happened on Thursday night that are worth mentioning. The Sun's a much much-needed win against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Some wins are bigger than others.

Obviously, Laker fans not happy with their team after getting dropped by the Suns.

But the Suns, you know, we had talked about how big a deal it would be to lose Dylan Brooks.

And the instant results

were very poor.

They had 77 points against Portland.

They had 81 points against Boston, and it's like, oh, my gosh.

Like, they're having trouble breaking 80 now.

And so that's why I say, some wins are bigger than others.

It was a tough February for them.

And this one, I think, you know, we'll see if it gets them back on track.

But it was an interesting paradox between these two teams because one, we have lauded for playing hard all year long and that

that is the difference that the sun's given honest effort every single night and then you see

hustle plays being made down the stretch and guys like royce o'neill hitting a game winner a good look

by austin reeves on the last shot,

but Sun's got a good win,

and they needed that after what had been a rough February.

No Booker, no Brooks, no goodwin.

You would not expect this team to even be close to the Lakers.
