Hello, beautiful human. I'm Zach. This is Dan.

And this is Sam. But really you go by SG Lewis.

Is that initials or is that just totally from scratch?

Literally it's just my initials.

I kind of, long story short, I got told by someone pretty early on in my career

that like Sam Lewis was a pretty kind of underwhelming name.

I was kind of doing some remixes for like this label at the time.

And I was doing a bit of ghost production actually.

And then they were like, hey, we're going to put your name on one of these things.

What do you want your name to be? And I was like, my name, Sam Lewis.

And they were like, yeah, yeah, that's not going to cut it.

So then they were like, how about what's your middle name I was like George and they were like how was S G Lewis I was

like yeah great fine let's go for it and then it's kind of stuck I guess it has a real

suave flow to it but there's a couple things in there that I want to unpack

but we do have an album to talk about it's called called Times. It's a debut album. You mentioned ghost producing.

Just like really early on, it was just kind of some bits and bobs that I would do that would kind of go on credit.

I mean, I'm literally like 17 at this point, so I didn't even know what I was doing.

I was kind of just like sort of doing little bits that would like appear in other places.

But it's so long ago now, I wouldn't even be able to point to things and be like, that was me.
