Summary

* Big double standard in the media regarding "sexism"
* Rolling Stone story based on complete fiction about a woman who claimed she was raped in a fraternity house
* The reporter accepted the woman's story without checking sources
* After the facts were out, the reporter apologized to everyone except the men who were falsely accused and the fraternity involved
* Where is the outrage that the real victims did not receive an apology?
* Is it sexist to assume that men do not deserve apologies when wrongly accused?
* The reporter refuses to condemn the woman who lied
* The primary apology must go to the wrongly accused, the fraternity and to the university

Today I want to follow up on the theme that I addressed not too long ago in the podcast

0:15.2

Well, according to the jury, the only victim was Clienter Perkins.

0:51.2

They made the mistake of hiring her.

0:53.6

1:01.3

1:05.1

1:11.9

for having filed false charges against her employer, simply trying to extort a huge

1:20.7

unerent payday.

1:22.7

I know they basically talked about her as if she was a hero.

1:27.8

She was courageous to come forward.

1:30.6

Courageous heroic about coming forward with a lie, but no articles written about how awful

1:37.4

it is for Clienter Perkins to have been dragged through the mud and articles about how terrible

1:44.6

it is when women or anybody falsely accuses somebody of doing something and now they have

1:51.3

to defend themselves.

1:52.9

All the articles were still flattering against Ms. Powell, and not many people were trying

1:57.6

to defend Clienter Perkins.

1:59.6

I mean, maybe the inferences that, well, they got away with it.
