Hello, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of High Low With Immrata. Today we are

talking about service industry versus sex work. On Tuesday, Glowy Cherry came on the podcast

and as I said in the intro, she, you know, has a very specific perspective on her experience

with a porn industry, very different than what Mia Khalifa, who was also a guest on the

podcast, described as her experience. And there were a lot of things that she said about the

adult film industry being a safe place for people in general, and women specifically that a

lot of people took issue with. And there's the clip that I posted online TikTok actually took

it down because she said the word porn, which I guess isn't allowed on TikTok. But on Instagram,

where Glowy says, you know, that she basically felt way safer working in the adult film industry

than she did as a waitress. And I got a ton of responses from friends who worked as strippers or

in sex work and also as waitresses. And a lot of people had a lot of different thoughts. And maybe

for every story that there's a, you know, a waitress who says, oh, I never was sexually harassed,

there are 10 saying that they had terrible experiences and that, you know, managers would fire

them if they complained about sexual harassment. And the same goes with the adult film industry and

we're stripping. So we're going to get into this because Mia Khalifa actually did a response

video to this that I think is really important for everyone to hear. And let's get into it.
