website. She knows because she was in the inside, first as a sugar baby, and then as a, I guess, working in the PR department and recruitment

and so on until she wised up and figured out what was going on. Brooke, nice to see you. Thanks for

coming on. Thanks for writing this book, by the way. Oh, thank you. And thanks for having me.

I'm interested to talk to a scientist. Well, yeah, I think there is actually a lot of science that we can bring into the

discussion about male, female differences in our evolved sexual psychology. But before we get in

all that, what's your story? I mean, I asked this of all guests, but yours is particularly interesting.

How did you go from whatever it is you were doing? How were you raised? Give us a little bit of background about that,

and then how you nudged into this story. I started out as a sort of promiscuous teenager, and I was

kind of given permission to do that by like sort of permissive parents who, you know, allowed me to do what I was going to do.

And that led me to working for an adult novelty company, which was like my entry into the sex industry.

And kind of desensitized me to talking about sex and working in the sex industry. And that's what led me to

my job at seeking arrangement as a spokesperson and PR manager. So I did start out as a sugar baby. I got my

job because of the knowledge that I had of the sex industry and because of the ease at which I was

able to talk about sex and

like sexual topics. But I didn't start out working there. I started out as a user of the website

and I originally joined because I thought that I was going to be a reality star. They said they

were doing a reality showcasting. My friend told me about the site. She's like, you know, sign up. We can be reality stars. I was like, okay, cool. So that's kind of where I got my start there, which led me to then, like, working for the company. And it's interesting because, like, I started out as someone who was cast to appear in the media and basically lie on behalf of the

company and was paid to lie. And then they hired me. And then I was casting people to lie in the

media on behalf of the company. So it's kind of one of those classic stories where like you are
