One man said we tried for years to become famous for her excellent cancer care.

Then this woman comes around that makes us famous for her dying patients.

but we begin with a shocking story involving the abuse of power

and authority. UN peacekeepers are supposed to be the good guys. But in the late 1990s, a dark chapter

in the history of international peacekeeping was revealed

when whistleblowers implicated UN Blue Helmet Officers and International Police in forced prostitution

and people trafficking.

The victims were Eastern European women who were tricked into going to Bosnia

just as the Balkans was emerging from a bitter civil war.
