We talked yesterday about the PFF quarterback grades. Oh, my goodness gracious. People up in arms by Jared Gough, finishing 26th in the rankings for the preseason quarterback grades, courtesy of Bruce Radkowski, the author at PFF.com and the former NFL quarterback.

Bruce is going to join us coming up momentarily to tell us why he is Jared Gough behind the likes of Justin Fields, Ryan Fitzpatrick, etc.

Also, Pena Sewell's contract is in and done.

I thought we're a little bit unfair to Jared Gough.

I'm not sitting here telling you that I think Jared Gough is going to light the world on fire

or become a pro bowler this year or get back to his Super Bowl days and his NFC championship days with the Rams,

but I think he's much more serviceable than being rated 26th out of 32 quarterbacks,

which we talked about a lot yesterday.

And Justin Fields of the Bears, who's not even the starter right now in Chicago, being ranked ahead of him.

I think James Winston and Tassum Hill from New Orleans ahead of him, I think is absolutely outrageous.

All right, both Field Yates and Ian Rappaport reporting this morning that the Lions and their first round pick,

Penae Soule, the Big Wright tackle from Oregon, have agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract worth $24.1 million, fully guaranteed contract, and he gets a $14.88 million signing bonus.

Now, this is in line with the, the contracts from a year ago,
